National youth organizations
A free option for your local affiliates
National youth organizations set standards and support local units that run their own programs. BackPR gives the registered nonprofits among those units a free way to take registration and card payments, without a national contract.
What a member nonprofit pays
Free applies to registered nonprofits in the United States. Other organizations can request a quote.
Who you are
A national office with local units
National youth organizations set program standards, provide training and support local affiliates, chapters or clubs. The national office may offer brand resources, curriculum and a shared identity.
Local units often run their own operations, including registration and payments. They may be separately incorporated nonprofits, projects of the national body or for-profit entities.
A national office cannot always mandate a local software choice. A free option that local units can adopt on their own avoids a national procurement process and lets each unit decide when it is ready.
- Affiliates that choose their own tools.
- Local units with small budgets and volunteer staff.
- Families who need a consistent registration experience across units.
- National staff who need a clear answer to send to affiliates.
- Families who prefer to register in Spanish.
- Local units that need help moving data.
Not every affiliate will qualify for the free option. BackPR confirms nonprofit status at sign-up. For-profit or public units can request a quote.
What local units need
A local decision that does not need a national purchase order
Local control
Affiliates may choose their own tools. A national recommendation only helps if a local unit can say yes without a budget request.
A familiar family experience
Families may deal with more than one local unit. A shared registration option can look familiar without a national mandate.
Eligibility that is clear
Some affiliates are registered nonprofits. Some are projects of the national body or for-profit entities. The free option depends on the organization that holds the account.
Data the local unit can keep
A local unit needs to export its families and payment records if it changes systems. BackPR offers free export at any time.
How BackPR fits
A free option, shared not mandated
BackPR handles online registration, payments, forms, check-in and parent messaging for youth and community programs. Families register; local staff see the roster and the payments.
For registered nonprofit affiliates, BackPR is free. There is no subscription and no BackPR fee. The only processing cost is Stripe's standard rate, which the local unit can absorb or pass on.
There is no national contract to sign. Share the option with local units and let each one decide.
Free for registered nonprofits
No subscription and no BackPR fees. The free option is how BackPR works for registered nonprofits, not a trial.
A quote for other affiliates
A for-profit or public unit can request a quote. BackPR confirms status at sign-up.
Free setup and import
BackPR sets up the account and brings over families and programs from a current system or spreadsheets. The local unit reviews everything before families see it.
Resources to share
Free printable templates and a state rules library give local units something useful before they are ready to switch. The library is general information, not legal advice.
BackPR is available in the United States only.
What your national office gets
A free option to share with affiliates
There is no fee to the national office to share BackPR, and no BackPR fees for a registered nonprofit affiliate that chooses it. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.
You do not need to run registration for affiliates. Point them to the free option page and let each local unit decide.
When an affiliate is ready, BackPR sets up the account and imports the data. The affiliate reviews the programs, families and forms before families see them.
- A free option to share with the programs you support.
- No fee to your organization to share it.
- No BackPR fees for a registered nonprofit that chooses it. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.
- A short demo for your staff or volunteers, focused on the screens programs would use.
- Free setup and data import for each program that signs up.
- Free templates programs can use, whether or not they use BackPR.
- A state rules library programs can read and share.
- A clear answer on eligibility at sign-up.
BackPR has no partnership with any national youth organization. This page describes an offer to share, not an existing partnership. Co-branding, logo use, a national announcement, a conference booth or a paid membership is not part of this offer.

FAQ
National youth organizations questions
Do affiliates have to adopt BackPR?
No. There is no national requirement. Each local unit can decide for itself.
Do we need a national agreement?
No national agreement is required to share the free option. If your national office wants to use BackPR for its own programs, it signs up like any other organization. BackPR has no partnership with any umbrella organization.
Can we co-brand or announce a partnership?
No. This page does not offer co-branding, logo use, a press announcement or a conference booth. It describes a free option you can share with affiliates.
Are all affiliates eligible?
No. BackPR is free for registered nonprofits. For-profit or public units can request a quote.
What does it cost the national office?
Nothing to share the option. If the national office runs its own programs and is a registered nonprofit, it can use BackPR free. If it is not a nonprofit, it can request a quote.
Can local units export their data?
Yes. A nonprofit can export its data at any time for free. There is no long-term contract and no exit fee.
Can families use BackPR in Spanish?
Yes. Registration and parent screens are available in Spanish. Email support can also answer in Spanish.
Do you offer a demo for national staff?
Yes. Email support@backpr.com with the subject 'Partnership question'. Tell us which organization you represent and what your affiliates need. We'll arrange a short demo.
