Faith organizations

A free option for the ministries you support

Faith organizations support programs that run on volunteers, trust and a tight budget. BackPR gives registered nonprofit ministries a free way to take registration and card payments, with setup and data import included.

Free for registered nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, including churches and faith-based organizations.

Who you are

A youth office, camp association or congregation

Faith organizations take many forms. A denominational youth office may support congregations across a region. A camp or retreat association may support several sites. A congregation may run its own youth group, vacation Bible school or community program.

The programs look different too: Sunday school, youth group trips, retreats, mission trips, summer camps and community outreach. Some are part of a registered nonprofit or church. Others are projects of a larger body.

Eligibility depends on the organization that holds the account. BackPR confirms nonprofit status at sign-up, so ask before a ministry starts if the structure is not clear.

  • Volunteers who run registration alongside other work.
  • Events, retreats and ongoing groups with different sign-up needs.
  • Medical, allergy and pickup forms for children's programs.
  • Families who prefer to register in Spanish.
  • Budgets that cannot absorb another subscription.
  • Leaders who need help moving data from spreadsheets or another system.

Not every ministry will qualify for the free option. BackPR confirms nonprofit status at sign-up. For-profit or public programs can request a quote.

What member ministries need

Registration that works for volunteers

A setup a volunteer can finish

The person running registration may have a full-time job and a Sunday afternoon. Setup needs to be clear, and the handoff to the next volunteer needs to be simple.

One system for events and groups

A week of vacation Bible school, a Sunday school year and a summer trip do not use the same registration flow. Staff need to set up each one without rebuilding the basics.

Forms and safety

Churches collect medical, allergy and pickup information, especially for children's programs. Missing forms create risk and extra work.

A clear cost for families

Card processing is part of taking payments online. A ministry can absorb Stripe's standard rates or pass them on as a clearly labeled fee. BackPR adds no fee of its own.

How BackPR fits

Registration and payments for ministry programs

BackPR handles online registration, payments, forms, check-in and parent messaging for youth and community programs. Families register; ministry staff see the roster and the payments.

For registered nonprofit ministries, including churches and faith-based organizations, BackPR is free. There is no subscription and no BackPR fee. The only processing cost is Stripe's standard rate, which the ministry can absorb or pass on.

Free for registered nonprofits

No subscription and no BackPR fees. The free option is how BackPR works for registered nonprofits, not a trial.

A quote when the ministry is not a nonprofit

A for-profit or public program can request a quote. BackPR confirms status at sign-up.

Free setup and import

BackPR sets up the account and brings over families and programs from a current system or spreadsheets. The ministry reviews everything before families see it.

Templates for volunteer teams

Free printable templates include registration, medical and allergy, authorized pickup, volunteer application, incident report and parent handbook forms. PDF and Word.

The state rules library covers licensing, ratios, background checks, medication and mandated reporting by state. It is general information, not legal advice.

What your organization gets

A free option to share with member ministries

There is no fee to the organization to share BackPR, and no BackPR fees for a registered nonprofit ministry that chooses it. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.

You do not need to run registration for every congregation or camp. Point them to the free option page and let each ministry decide.

When a ministry is ready, BackPR sets up the account and imports the data. The ministry reviews the programs, families and forms before families see them.

  • A free option to share with the programs you support.
  • No fee to your organization to share it.
  • No BackPR fees for a registered nonprofit that chooses it. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.
  • A short demo for your staff or volunteers, focused on the screens programs would use.
  • Free setup and data import for each program that signs up.
  • Free templates programs can use, whether or not they use BackPR.
  • A state rules library programs can read and share.
  • A clear answer on eligibility at sign-up.

BackPR has no partnership with any faith organization. This page describes an offer to share, not an existing partnership. A denominational endorsement, conference booth or paid membership is not part of this offer.
