Enter your program's price, how many children need help and the average scholarship as a share of the price. See the total you need, how many children your current funds cover and what's left to raise.

### How it works
The average scholarship per child is the program price times the average share you cover.

Total needed is that amount times the number of children who need help.

Children covered is how many average-size scholarships your funds can pay for. Still to raise is the total needed minus the funds you have.

**Where do programs find scholarship money?**
Common sources are local foundations, community grants, business sponsors, a small amount added to full-price registrations, and families who choose to add a donation to your program when they register.

**Does this count our real cost?**
It uses your full price, which is what a scholarship is worth to the family. If a scholarship child fills a spot that would otherwise be empty, the extra cost to your program is lower, closer to your per-child costs.

**How do we keep scholarships private?**
Limit who sees scholarship decisions to the people who review them, and apply scholarships the same way as any other discount, so other families and your program staff can't tell who received help.
