What this is

A small course tool. A teacher makes a course, adds lessons out of text, files and embedded video, enrols students, and sets assignments. Students work through the lessons and submit work. Guardians can be given a read-only view of their own child’s progress.

Think of it as a tidy shared folder with a running order and a marks column.

How it works

• Create a course, add lessons in order, attach files or links.
• Enrol students, either one at a time or from a CSV.
• Set assignments with a due date; students submit text or a file.
• Mark work and leave a comment. Marks are numbers or your own labels.
• Guardians with an account see their own child’s lessons completed and marks given.

Where it stops

• No SCORM, xAPI or LTI, and no gradebook export to a school MIS.
• No proctoring, plagiarism checking or adaptive learning.
• No SIS integration. Enrolments come from a CSV or from typing.
• Built for tens of courses, not hundreds.

Who suits this

Camps, after-school programmes and very small schools putting a handful of courses online for the first time. If your teachers already know an LMS, stay with it.

Questions and answers

How many courses can we run? Your plan sets the number: up to 2 on Starter, and up to 10 on Growth and Leadership. The tool itself is built for tens of courses, so the plan is the limit rather than the software.

Can we import from our current LMS? By hand: copy the text, upload the files. There is no importer.

Who supports teachers using it? You do. We can answer questions by email, but training your staff at scale is beyond what BackPR covers.

Does it work on phones? Yes, the pages are responsive.

Can we get our content back out? Yes, files and text export. Ask and we will run the export.

Who writes the courses? You do. We build the tool, not your curriculum.
