> Counselors: write something specific and true for every camper. Families read these closely. Keep concerns for a phone call, not this note.

**Camper**
- Name: ______
- Group: ______

**Skills (if your camp tracks them)**
- Swim level: ______

**Next time**

### How to use it
- Ask counselors to jot one note per camper each day so the report is quick to write.
- Read reports before they go home to catch anything that sounds negative or unclear.
- Use first names only for other campers.

**Should camps send progress reports to parents?**
Many do, especially for longer sessions or skill programs. A short, specific note tells families what their child did and helps them decide about the next session.

**What should a camper progress report say?**
Favorite activities, one skill they improved, a real moment from the week and something to try next time. Raise concerns by phone instead.
