Stack Sports runs Sports Connect (part of PlayMetrics since 2025), registration and league software for local clubs, leagues and governing bodies. Pricing isn't published, families pay a nonrefundable service fee and Stack handles all card processing. BackPR is free for nonprofits and never adds its own fee to what families pay.

Sports Connect charges families a service fee at checkout that isn't refunded; its 2022 pricing FAQ put it at $3 per transaction.
- **No automatic yearly renewal:** Cancel BackPR anytime. Stack's license agreement renews for 12 months at a time unless you give 30 days' written notice, and allows yearly fee increases at renewal.
- **Export your data anytime:** Export your data from BackPR anytime, for free. Stack's license agreement keeps your content available for 30 days after termination for archiving or moving to another system.

What Stack Sports does well: Sports Connect is an official partner of national organizations including Little League, PONY, Pop Warner, USA Football, US Youth Soccer, U.S. Soccer and the AAU, with integrations such as the U.S. Soccer data center and Little League pitch-count tracking. It includes mobile-first registration with volunteer sign-ups, more than 25 website designs, scheduling, reporting, a free team app, fan wear stores and fundraising, and Stack adds officials and tournament tools.
