# Regpack pricing, explained

Regpack sells annual packages (SMB, Mid-Market and Mid-Market Plus) and à la carte admin licenses, and it processes the payments families make. Its pricing page shows no prices and asks you to request a report; a summary Regpack publishes for AI tools (its llms.txt file) gives approximate package prices, and its help center lists prices per admin license. Regpack's service agreement says pricing is based on the number of admin licenses, and there is no charge per registration.

### Card and bank processing
Through merchant accounts Regpack sets up for you. Rates start "as low as 1.5%," are volume-tiered, are set during onboarding from your estimated volume and card mix, and are re-evaluated quarterly; the per-transaction fixed fee isn't published. American Express, Discover and Diners Club cards cost an extra 1.6% + $0.50. Fees are deducted before payout and aren't returned on refunds. Payout by wire transfer costs extra (amount not published).

### Setup, contract and nonprofit terms
- **Setup and onboarding:** Included in the SMB, Mid-Market and Mid-Market Plus packages. À la carte licenses carry a separate, non-refundable setup fee (amount not published). Your first project build includes 2 months of project consultation (up to 15 forms); extending it costs extra (not published). Data migration support is part of Mid-Market Plus.
- **Contract and cancellation:** Annual. Packages are billed every 365 days (SMB, Mid-Market and Mid-Market Plus can be paid in installments) and renew automatically unless either side gives 30 days' written notice. Regpack's cancellation policy requires at least 90 days' notice; to cancel sooner, you pay 50% of all Super Admin licenses (minimum $2,000) or 90 days of Super Admin license fees. All payments, including setup fees, are non-refundable. Regpack can adjust license fees once per calendar year with 30 days' notice. Downgrades take effect at renewal (or with 60 days' notice before the next billing cycle). Canceling permanently deletes all account data right away, so export first. You can suspend the account once every 12 months for up to 60 days, with billing paused.
- **Nonprofit offer:** Not published.
- **Fees families pay:** Regpack Purchase Protection is turned on by default in every project and offered to registrants at checkout for a fee they pay. The help center doesn't give a price; a Regpack blog post puts it at around 3–5% of the activity cost. It reimburses up to $2,500 per claim for illness, injury or death. Organizations can set it to opt-in, and can turn it off fully only if they show a qualifying refund policy at checkout. Regpack's help center also suggests charging registrants a service fee to cover processing costs.

### What BackPR costs
BackPR is free for nonprofits: no subscription and no BackPR fees. Payments run on Stripe at Stripe's standard rates (https://stripe.com/pricing), and you can absorb the fee or pass it on. BackPR never adds its own fee to what families pay. Other organizations get pricing by quote. No long-term contract: cancel anytime, with no exit fees. Onboarding, data import and data export are free.

**Does Regpack publish its prices?**
Not on its pricing page. A summary Regpack publishes for AI tools (llms.txt) says the SMB (small-business) package is about $400 a month and Mid-Market about $600 a month, billed annually. Its help center lists Account Owner and Super Admin licenses at $3,000 a year.

**Does Regpack charge per registration?**
No. Its help center says there is no cost per applicant, email or report. Regpack charges for admin licenses and for payment processing, which starts at 1.5% and is set during onboarding.

**Can we cancel Regpack anytime?**
Cancellation needs notice. Packages renew automatically each year. The service agreement says 30 days' notice, but Regpack's cancellation policy requires 90 days, or a payment of 50% of Super Admin licenses (at least $2,000) to leave sooner. Payments are non-refundable, and canceling deletes all account data immediately.
