ActiveNet (ACTIVENet) is ACTIVE Network's recreation management software for parks and recreation departments and YMCAs. Its pricing isn't published, and ACTIVE's published recreation terms run three years at a time unless the order says otherwise. BackPR is free for nonprofits, with free onboarding and no long-term contract.

- **Free onboarding and data import:** Setup and data import are free at BackPR. ACTIVE invoices implementation as a service, half at the start and half at completion.
- **No BackPR fee at checkout:** BackPR never adds its own fee to what families pay. Card processing runs at Stripe's standard rates, which you absorb or pass on. ActiveNet's processing rates are set in each organization's fee contract.

What ActiveNet does well: ActiveNet is a broad system for parks and recreation departments and YMCAs: activity registration with waitlists and digital waivers, memberships with access control, facility reservations, point of sale, child care check-in, built-in email and text, Spanish and French customer pages, and dedicated account management with user groups and training.
